WebManage have won the account for Thrifty Car Rentals and will be managing the Website and Intranet Operations.

WebManage has improved user experience on Tourism Australia's Nothing Like Australia international campaign with the GeoWeb Launch this week. The introduction of updated flash application in Australia and 14 other countries now allows users to view with ease thousands of Australian experiences as well as search for places to stay, things to do, videos, trips, events, destinations and trip advisor reviews. The GeoWeb launch includes New Zealand, United Kingdom, China, Japan, Korea, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Canada, Malaysia, Italy, Indonesia and the International version of nothinglikeaustralia.com website.

This week WebManage have commited to making ongoing contributions to the Recovering Cove Foundation. A parent-initiated project, Recovering Cove is raising funds for the full recovery of a small boy named Cove from the complex neurobiological disorder known as Autism. All monies raised will enable Cove and his parents to receive treatment through the Son-Rise Program at the Austism Treatment Centre of America.

WebManage has completed the launch of Tourism Australia's second phase of the ‘There’s nothing like Australia’ domestic marketing campaign – the Dream Team promotion. In a bid to help save one of Australia's most loved icons, WebManage have joined forces with Northern NSW group, Friends of the Koala Inc (FOK), in helping to rescue and rehabilitate sick and injured koalas within the Northern Rivers region. This month WebManage begins sponsoring FOK's 24/7 rescue hotline. Once rescued, FOK carers rehabilitate koalas at heir care centre or partner centres. Koalas Australia-wide are suffering due to illness, dog attacks and other issues arising from continually decreasing habitats. This week WebManage in conjunction with Humanitarian Services for Children of Vietnam (HSCV) helped clear the debt for the family of Nguyeri Thi Thuon. After a tragic motorcycle accident last year, the family accrued huge medical debts in their failed efforts to save the life of their father and husband. Left without support, the family have struggled ever since to make ends meet. Through the support of WebManage, HSCV and their Australian sponsor Ron Brown, the family are now able to continue functioning their small pig farming business which supports a grandmother, mother and two school-aged children.

Thanks to the tireless work of Humanitarian Services for the Children of Vietnam (HSCV) and WebManage, 6 month old baby Nguyen Khac Bao An this week successfully received life-saving heart surgery in Hanoi, Vietnam. Soon after his birth in the Nghe An province in the Centre of Vietnam, it was detected that Bao An suffered from Tetralogy of Fallot (Fallot 4), the most common heart condition in children, and required emergency surgery to survive. Due to WebManage's ongoing commitment to HSCV to fund child surgery, the operation was able to be conducted without delay. Thankfully his young parents and twin brother will now have the chance to grow together.

In partnership with Sydney Design House Ascender, WebManage today launched stage one of the Activate Growth three-phase website build. WebManage has unveiled even more features in our client relations and project management software WebPro Version 2.0.  In addition to requesting support from WebManage Project Managers clients can now assign tickets internally to their own employees, and then invite Webmanage into the loop when required. Moreover, the introduction of Project Management timeline gant charts and the soon to be released document management feature will allow for even better project tracking, organisation and communication.

WebManage today launched fashion event management company Miro House's new look website at www.miro-house.com. The site features an extensive news module,numerous forms and separate menus for their Paris and Sydney offices. The next step is Miro House's fashion recruitment website, Miro Door, currently under development by WebManage.

Vidcall is Live! The VidCall iphone and smartphone alternative application offers advertisers their own video broadcast channel that users can access from anywhere at anytime from their mobile phones. VidNames have exclusive rights to the Australian network and the website will feature an interactive keypad simulation and directory.

With the help of Humanitarian Services for Children in Vietnam (HSCV), WebManage are now providing 20 underprivileged families a month with much needed protein-rich animal products including meat and eggs which are considered unattainable by many in Vietnam. Each of these extremely poor families will use their meat and protein supplement to nourish themselves and their children ensuring a much brighter future.

The upcoming Cole Classic has given WebManage a great opportunity to contribute to cancer research through the innovative non-profit organisation Can Too. In exchange for professional coaching from Can Too, novice swimmers are required to seek sponsorship for their swim with all sponsorship dollars directly funding Australian scientists in their cancer research through Cure Cancer Australia.

We are extremely pleased two year old Nguyen Ngoc Hung of Ha Noi in Vietnam has just received a life-saving heart surgery operation thanks to HSCV and the International Cardio Start Medical Mission Team. WebManage sponsored the operation which not only saved Nguyen's life but also provided valuable training for Vietnamese heart surgeons who will now be able to help more children like Nguyen without foreign assistance.

Following the launch of the Australian DataDot site earlier this year, WebManage this month launched DataDot Technology Limited into the US market. The website is a crucial part of the process in purchasing and registering asset protection and identification technology with local police, ensuring true ownership of stolen property is identified by authorities immediately. Once again, the progressive design and broad functionality of the site were built to match DataDot Technology's position as a corporate leader in its field as well as ASX listed company.

On September 20th this year 18 month old Quynh Anh of Vietnam received vital ribcage surgery that if left untreated would have eventually prevented her from breathing. Through HSCV WebManage were able to sponsor the operation that involved fixing a "lift-bar" inside Quynh Anh's ribcage which will be removed in 3 years time. WebManage are also sponsoring her 6 month recovery program to ensure she receives everything she needs to be a happy and healthy toddler as soon as possible.

Too often orphaned or underprivileged children in developing countries like Guatemala have their time and focus consumed by the need to survive rather than the right to enjoy a happy, safe and playful childhood. Together with Seres, this month WebManage is giving the children of the Casa Del Nino, a home for disadvantaged and abandoned children, a fun and sustainable place to play and be kids.

There are far too many people in developing countries being kept in the dark due to poverty and lack of access to adequate eye-health care. Together with the Fred Hollows Foundation we are helping end avoidable blindness caused by cataracts and other treatable diseases through donating $250 a month toward the Foundation’s Miracle Club. Better still, due to The Foundation’s inspirational and innovative work in bringing down the cost of cataract surgery, our donation represents restoring the gift of sight to 10 people a month.

We’re thrilled to announce a new member of WebManage family, Jarot, an orphaned baby boy orangutan currently in the care of Batu Mbelin Orangutan Quarantine Centre in Northern Sumatra. Jarot is one of thousands of orphans supported by the Australian Orangutan Project (AOP) in their efforts to protect this very human-like and highly endangered species from threatened extinction due to the rapid rate of rainforest clearing for palm oil plantations in Malaysia and Indonesia.
